Funday 2008
FUNDAY provided a unique opportunity for individuals with disabilities to experience a day at Beaver Lake. Approximately 200 individuals participated in FUNDAY and by all accounts this was the most successful FUNDAY to date. Throughout the day I heard story after story of the event’s significance. For many individuals this was their first time on a boat. For one particular individual this was his first time back on a boat in seven years after a car accident that resulted in quadriplegia.
